Alterada a la glucosa en ayunas (IFG)
Es una condición en la que una prueba de glucosa en la sangre, tomada después de un 8 a 12 horas de ayuno, muestra un nivel de glucosa más alto de lo normal pero no lo suficientemente altos como para diagnosticar diabetes. IFG, también llamado pre-diabetes, es un nivel de 100 mg / dl a 125 mg / dL. La mayoría de las personas con pre-diabetes tienen un mayor riesgo de desarrollar diabetes tipo 2. Ver más información en:
