horizonte
Una de varias líneas o planos utilizados como referencia para la observación y la medición con respecto a un determinado lugar en la superficie de la tierra. El horizonte geográfico, también llamado el horizonte aparente, es la línea distante que a lo largo de la tierra y el cielo parecen cumplir. Este es el concepto habitual de horizonte y se utiliza en la observación del clima. El horizonte local es el límite real inferior del cielo observado o la línea superior de los objetos terrestres, incluso cerca de obstáculos naturales, como montañas.
